Buying Expired Sites on DMOZ for Backlink

Days ago Jeremy Schoemaker aka Shoemoney has post his video about buying web site for SEO. Personally this method is old, but by some people buying dead/expired websites specially for web sites which listed on DMOZ or Yahoo Directory have more valuable of point to get high rank in Search Engine.

My opinion, this could be true if the expired domain still has a lot of backlinks, have higher Google PageRank and old age of domain.

Many people still debating about issue sites with oldest domains will get high ranking, sure it could be. However, its not guaranty of you who love buying dead website and then adding new contents will get position on the 1st page. Google have many parameters to measure which sites should be on front page. They not just measure from PageRank, domain age or number of backlinks, etc.

Nice opinion.Menurut saya parameter yang penting adalah backlinks dan page yang masih terindex di Search Engine mas Pogung. Karena walaupun PR tinggi, tanpa page terindex baik, kemungkinan besar fake PR-nya.

Expired domain bisa dijadikan VALID asal dikelola dengan cepat sebelum Updating Google Page Rank setiap catur wulan. Terbukti!

the problem is when google will update the page rank?, could we know the schedule for it?. Or just google the one who knows :)

actually im not agree with your article above. I bought 5 expired domains which have high pagerank (fake pagerank) and have many backlinks. After google update their pageranks become zero, And their backlinks is deleted by google. Maybe my experience not the same with you. But i was tell the truth.
