On Shoemoney Ask Question Round 9, I asked to him about behind NexPimp engine. When googling few days ago, on Zikula forum, I found Shoemoney make a post thread about study case that Nextpimp has been generate over 22.000 unique visitor per day and about 150.000 page views per day and it was happen in 2004. In 2008 if you open NextPimp, you’ll see over than 500k registered members join his free ringtones site.

So, when He open Ask Question post, I try to ask him about story behind Nextpimp, why he choose Postnuke as the engine.

Shoemoney answer pogung177 question

Jeremy gave me the answer, back in 2004 when he was very bad programmer. He choose PostNuke because it easy framework. As I know, PostNuke has many of vulnerability, I just wondering why he still use it and didn’t upgrade to the secured CMS.

Shoemoney inspire to us to be creative, even though using free CMS, he can make $ 300.000 on ringtones subscription. Lucky to you Jeremy …

what ??? 300 K/month ???
that’s more than detik.com revenue. Amazingggg

First,
the “PostNuke has many of vulnerability” link points to a *pretty old* third party security issue and not a Core vulnerability…

PHP-Nuke is the insecure one, and to avoid this kind of confusion, PostNuke was renamed to Zikula. The version 1.0 was released yesterday.

Shoemoney is supported by one of the better Application Frameworks out there. Look at zikula.org please.

Thanks Mateo,
I not read detail that vulnerability is pretty old.
Zikula look so promising CMS.
