PR0 Caused by F*ckin Link Injection Exploit
When last Google pagerank update on first July 2008, I’m not realized my pagerank dropped from PR4 to PR3, and then in just view days dropped again to big zero. I thought it just temporary effect of the updating pagerank for all websites by Google ranking system.
Now days I confused why this not moving from big zero, until I got the answer. See the figure below.
I found suspicious my pages on google cache result, then I click the “cache” link. Wallaa…. I got wordpress link exploited since early September 2008, since the page got cached.
I know this is a serious thing, and thinking how to make my pagerank back (waiting until next update). After blog walking in many places, I found two answer how to repair or avoid from link exploit
- First, I found on Shoemoney post, He suggest to upgrade your Wordpress 2.3.3 to the lates update.
- Second, I found on ByExample.com, this very excellent tutorial how to prevent and repairing from spam link injection exploit

My Pr drop to zero too. I check my site cache but not found any spamming link. Maybe because i sell link.

I think wordpress 2.3.3 is not secure
My suggestion :
Update your wordpress to the latest version
Chmod your main wordpress file,like index.php,wp-config.php,wp-setting.php to 444

selain kena exploit injection, ada alasan lain pr turun. kemungkinan juga kebanyakan ikut program review mungkin ya mas wawan?
tapi akhirnya pagerank mas pogung balik jadi PR2 nih, selamat, moga2 balik lagi jadi PR4

saya dah coba bangun pupularity blog saya, warungkoe.com, hanya saja sampai saat ini belum muncul di link popularity seperti yang ada di langkah2 diatas, cuma kalo di search di google kata kunci nama blog saya yaitu warungkoe.com sudah ada banyak link, sekitar 10ribuan indeks. Kenapa ya? Beberapa waktu lalu PR saya slam jadi 0 dan sekarang belum balik, ada saran ?
