There are a lot of making money online program you can follow on the whole of Internet. Start from PPC (Adsense, YPN, Adbrite, Bidvertiser, Chikita etc), Paid Review (PayPerPost, SponsorReview etc), Paid Link (TextLinkAds, LinkWorth, etc), PPM (Casalemedia, Tribal Fusion, CPXInteractive, ValueClick, Bluelithium etc ). However I’ll not talk all about them, I ‘ll make short review one of CPM Network or as publisher usually named as PPM (Pay Per Thousand Impression) that I’ve followed a month ago, CPX Interactive. In middle February 2008 is when the first time I joined CPA Program, after browsing and blog walking to may famous place like Zacjohnson on his experience with CPM Program, I decided choose CPX Interactive.

CPX Interactive Video On CNBC

Why CPX, there no specific reason for this, I ever seen CPX Interactive print Ad on Revenue Magazine other reason want to test how profitable if I join and how much dollar I can get. Lets first see the graphs below this

This graph represent my last 30 days report start from Feb 13th 2008 to March 11th 2008. Start from zero dollar to some point of dollar, sorry I blurred it. In here I’m not going to show you the number but just the report progress.

This second graph show you how many impression of my site. Rate from Sunday to Saturday is closed to 50K impression from banner/pop up banner.

And the third graph show represent yesterday Impression based on country regional. The top level paying country is Australia, its look unusually. My daily best eCPM (Earn Cost Per Thousand Impression) should be the United State, see the green level bar US still the leader. And the lowest eCPM is country from Africa or Eastern Europe.

How do I get the money by following this program, simple just placing the banner ads or displaying pop up ads on your site. The Banner/Pop up program still exist even though the modern ads program like Text Ads is best generate high CTR (Click-Through Ratio). Why I displaying Pop Up Ads when most visitor hate with this ? On CPX or could be on another program, they has rate display ratio to set how frequency time the Pop-up appear. On CPX Interactive, I’ve set this pop-up show 1 time every 1 day on each IP Address/User. This will not disturb the visitor while browsing our site.

I have on of tip to get high eCPM, on the last graph watch the visitor come from US, UK, Canada or Australia get high eCPM than other. So I filtering the banner/pop-up based on unique IP address of my visitor. For simple logic see this:

If Visitor USA or UK or Aussie or Canada
display the banner/pop-up
Else
display other ads or Google adsense

For full of PHP code, I wrote like this

// Get IP ID Address
$ip=$_SERVER[’REMOTE_ADDR’];
$ch = curl_init();
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, “http://api.hostip.info/get_html.php?ip=”.$ip );
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 1 );
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $post_data);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1);
$postResult = curl_exec($ch);if (curl_errno($ch)) {

After working day and night more than 4 months, I’ve done complete finish my last project. I named it Simple Commission Junction Management System, by read the title you will understand this is kind of content management for website. I build it only to manage my affiliate products catalog specially products come from merchants in CJ Network.

Using CJ Webservices, you may also can create like mine. Actually it simple to develop if you have some good programming language like PHP, ASP.NET, JSP(Java Server Page). CJ provide their webservices for publisher in any multi programming language like I’ve said before, they also gave the sample code and API Reference for developer.

On the main panel I put statistic chart, to show what are the most popular sub category or items. I make the chart use Google Chart API the easy way generate any chart types. Some feature deploy on it, I can manage my category list, sub category list, add remove partner links, add and delete some featured CJ merchants link. And the most important on this CJ Management System is generate products catalog. I set it manually, you have search the related keywords to find your niche products. It will search set by all merchants joined with you or search base on specific merchant.

In the last post about my 7 years experience with Commission Junction, I’ve make short story my journey with CJ and in 2008 become my 8 years with CJ. By this year, would be my best year for me, I can setup many niche affiliate sites use my own Simple CJ Management System just less than one hour.

Sample of my affiliate site that was use this management system is HDMI101. This site not 100% perfect, I’m still looking for any error/bugs. The HDMI101 using template that I was ordered from my friend Doneeh from Trimedia. He very talented and professional web designer. The last, my Simple Commission Junction Management System will not sell as commercial product just for personal use, use by me.

Google Labs Set is one of Google Labs technology. By visit the Labs, you can see many of Google latest prototypes. Google Labs described as “showcases a few of our favorite ideas“.

There are two column on the Labs page. Right and left, on the right column is part of graduated prototypes while on the left is still on improving.

Now I test by playing with some terms on Google Lab Sets. The interface of front page is simple, with 5 form input with 2 submit button. One button will give you short result and other more result. Here, I test input with term of “Red”, the results are terms of colors such as Black, Blue, Green, etc.

Then I try with other term, I typed “Honda”, the results are popular automotive brands, like Ford, Toyota, BMW, Nissan, etc.

Still playing, on next I try use insert the form with local name, I typed “Soekarno”, and the results are list of ex-Indonesian President, Current President and names of political leader in Indonesia. Soekarno is Indonesian first President, follow by Soeharto, the 3rd is Susilo Bambang Yudoyono the active Indonesian President.

For final test, I decided input the form with my own nickname Pogung177. See the result below, Google described me as part of SEO, Webmaster, SEM, Marketing and etc.

Until I published this post, I got no conclusion for this. However, I’ll try to break behind this algorithm, the closed theory for this is Bayes Theory or Bayesian probability. If you ever take a college on Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering, your lecture must be ever teach this.
